Job Description
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our fast-growing team as we prepare our platform for launch and rapid scale. If you’re passionate about building world-class mobile applications, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to work on a product set to reach millions, this role is for you.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading the Android development of our platform, ensuring high performance, clean architecture, and scalability. This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll contribute to architecture decisions, write exceptional code, mentor other developers on good coding practices, and take features from concept all the way to the Google Play Store.
This is an onsite, NO -remote, contract position. ( NOT SHORT TERM)
No interstate or overseas applications
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Advanced expertise in Kotlin and strong understanding of scalable Android architecture.
- Proven experience implementing Clean Architecture and modern architectural patterns.
- Strong understanding of good coding practices and engineering principles.
- Demonstrated experience taking apps through the full development lifecycle to the Google Play Store.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Experience reviewing, improving, and mentoring developers on coding best practices.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
- Some experience with Swift / iOS development is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
- Understanding of mobile scalability and performance optimisation.

- Architect, develop, and optimize high-quality Android applications.
- Work closely with designers and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Uphold and implement engineering best practices across the codebase.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and mentor teammates.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Ensure the app meets performance, security, and quality benchmarks required for launch.
- Drive features from development through testing and release to the Google Play Store.
