As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll sit at the centre of key transformation, portfolio and shared services initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure investments deliver measurable value. Your Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, Planning & Performance, this role sits at the centre of Anglicare's transformation agenda. You will provide strategic financial business partnering across Transformation, Portfolio and Shared Services while helping shape the future of project and portfolio governance across the organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial finance, transformation, operational performance and innovation. You'll work closely with senior executives to evaluate investments, challenge business cases, track benefits realisation and drive better decision-making across a substantial portfolio of strategic initiatives.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Partner with executives and senior leaders to provide commercial advice and strategic financial insights.
  • Lead financial governance across transformation and portfolio initiatives.
  • Review and challenge business cases, investment proposals and ROI assumptions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and benefits realisation across key programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement through better reporting, analytics, systems and AI-enabled ways of working.

What you'll bring

You are a commercially minded and influential finance professional who can combine strong technical expertise with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.

You thrive in complex environments, enjoy solving business problems and can translate financial information into meaningful insights that drive action.

What’s required:

  • CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or commercial finance roles.
  • Proven experience supporting project, portfolio and transformation environments.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong Excel financial modelling, business case evaluation and investment appraisal capability.
  • Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams.

What’s preferred:

  • Experience within transformation-focused, project-intensive or technology-enabled organisations.
  • Knowledge of project financial governance, benefits realisation and portfolio management practices.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to understand business drivers beyond the numbers.
  • Experience using modern financial systems, reporting platforms and analytics tools.
  • Curiosity and confidence in leveraging AI, automation and digital technologies to improve financial insights, efficiency and decision-making.
