With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.
The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a Head of English to lead and develop our English faculty from January 2027. This is a full-time opportunity combining your passion for English teaching with meaningful leadership responsibility, shaping curriculum, developing colleagues, and fostering a genuine love of language, literature and learning. You’ll remain actively involved in the classroom, with dedicated time release and support to undertake your leadership responsibilities.
We’re looking for an experienced English teacher with strong curriculum expertise, a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning, and the ability to build a faculty culture where teachers and students can flourish. Whether you’re ready to take the next step into faculty leadership or are an established leader looking to bring your experience to a new community, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning while remaining connected to the classroom.
