Seeking to fill the following Secondary teaching vacancies from the beginning of the 2027 school year:
This is a 1.0FTE position for a teacher suitably qualified to teach all the above areas, or alternatively the College will welcome applicants for one or more of the vacancies for a negotiated part-time position.
This is a contract position to the end of 2027, with a view to ongoing employment.
Applications from appropriately qualified teachers who are willing to actively support and teach in accordance with the College’s Statement of Faith. In addition to teaching their subject areas, Ballarat Christian College teachers are expected to be able to fulfil homeroom and pastoral care roles in accordance with the College’s biblical stance, including teaching the College’s Christian Studies course, leading devotions, and prayer.
The successful applicant will work and act in accordance with the Biblical principles and beliefs as set out in the College’s Statement of Faith and the Staff Code of Conduct. It is an inherent requirement that staff are supportive of and abide by the Christian foundations, Christian ethos and Christian practice at the College.
