The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary PE & Sport Teacher to join our school community on a full-time, 12-month parental leave contractCommencement Term 4 2026

Reporting to the Head of Campus – Hillcrest Secondary, you will play an important role in inspiring and engaging students through Physical Education and Sport. You will foster a love of movement, teamwork and healthy competition, while creating positive experiences that encourage students to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong appreciation of physical activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education classes across the secondary years
  • Coordinate and support school sports events and programs, including competitions, carnivals and co-curricular activities
  • Encourage student participation and skill development in a fun and inclusive environment
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment where every student can experience success
  • Integrate Christian faith and values into your teaching and interactions with students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing

About You

  • You are a passionate and theologically grounded Christian leader with:
    A deep, personal faith and a commitment to Christian education.
  • Qualified teacher with experience in PE/Sport education.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A heart for mentoring and developing students and staff in their faith
  • Valid VIT Registration
