At Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), we’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to help design, support, and strengthen the technology that keeps our global ministry connected. Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been bringing help, hope, and healing to isolated communities for more than 80 years. Operating more than 116 aircraft across 30+ countries, we use aviation and technology to overcome barriers that prevent people accessing healthcare, education, disaster relief, and the Gospel.
While our aircraft reach some of the world’s most remote places, it’s our global technology infrastructure that keeps our people connected, our operations secure, and our mission moving.

Location: Office Based Role – Cairns, Australia.

As our IT Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be the technical expert behind the systems that keep MAF connected across the globe.
Working alongside our international IT team, you’ll design, support, and continually improve the infrastructure that enables our staff, aircraft, and programmes to operate safely and effectively in some of the world’s most remote locations.

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a Christian organisation that provides aviation services for people living in remote areas around the world.
For over 75 years, MAF has been serving isolated people by using aircraft to bring in the essentials of life as well as medical care, emergency food, and Christian hope.
Our purpose is to deliver practical and spiritual care to people in places of deepest human need. Every five minutes, a MAF plane takes off or lands somewhere in the world. These flights enable crucial work by many aid and development agencies, missions, local churches and other national groups.
