Bible Society Australia (BSA) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Impact and Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of our impact storytelling and communications. Reporting to the Impact and Communications Manager, this role is essential in producing, editing, and coordinating content across reports, campaigns, and publications that connect supporters to the mission. Key Responsibilities

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with the Impact and Communications Manager, Creative team, and internal stakeholders across Marketing and Fundraising
• Collaborate with external contractors, printers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality communications
• Ensure timely delivery and high standards across key publications including Sower magazine, Annual Impact Report, Impact Guide, Prayer Letters, and project-based assets

Editing and Copywriting

• Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with BSA’s tone of voice
• Produce both short- and long-form content for appeals, reports, and digital platforms
• Develop compelling impact stories for the BSA blog, Sower magazine, and other communication channels
• Edit and produce key publications including Prayer Letters, Daily Bible content, project factsheets, and impact reports

Project Management

• Manage timelines, production schedules, and quality standards for communication assets
• Coordinate the delivery of publications and campaigns to meet deadlines
• Build and schedule monthly Prayer Letter EDMs and coordinate print distribution

Key Criteria

We are looking for candidates with:

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
• Proven experience in editing, copywriting, and content development
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Confidence working across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with digital platforms including InDesign and Hubspot are essential and content management tools
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong initiative
• A personal commitment to Christian values and alignment with BSA’s mission

Desirable:

• Experience in impact reporting, fundraising communications, or campaign coordination
• Creative storytelling experience
• Experience with Wordpress, Asana, and Canva
