About WorldShare
For over 80 years, WorldShare has existed to transform lives and restore hope around the world, by connecting Australians with people in need overseas, so that together, we love like Jesus.
We are a Christian aid and development organisation which embraces God’s mission to help and love those in need, particularly the most vulnerable and marginalised. We empower the outcast and forgotten through education, training, and improved health outcomes, so they can have hope for the future.
We work through local Christian partnerships in Africa and Asia to bring lasting change to communities; particularly to vulnerable children, disempowered women and those excluded from their communities.

WorldShare is a Christian aid and development organisation, supporting locally-led initiatives overseas. We believe that God is the defender of the vulnerable and calls us to help those in need. Motivated by Jesus’ call to love our neighbour, we support Christian partners in developing countries around the world.
We assist our partner organisations in their programs which care for children, empower women, provide education and health care, and demonstrate the love of God. We bring Australian supporters together to resource and encourage our overseas partners, through generous giving, faithful prayer and overseas partner visits. We are integral in enabling a close relationship between our partners and supporters.
Operating since 1943, WorldShare is an established organisation and is currently going through an exciting period of change and evolution. We will be revising our mission and building a particular focus on protecting and helping those who are marginalised, mistreated and oppressed and are developing a unique way for the Christian community and churches in Australia to engage with local organisations overseas.
