This role sits within the newly formed Evangelism and Ministry Partnerships (EMP) division of the Diocese, which exists to support and strengthen gospel ministry across the Diocese. Through collaboration, innovation and service, EMP seeks to multiply Christians, multiply churches, multiply gospel workers and multiply gospel witness.
The Media and Communications team plays a vital role in telling the stories of our Diocese, sharing news and resources, strengthening engagement across our fellowship, and helping communicate the hope of Christ to the wider community.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic communications leader to serve as our Director of Media and Communications.
Reporting to the Head of EMP, you will lead the Diocese's media and communications function, developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the mission and goals of Sydney Anglicans.
Leading a team of content creators and communications professionals, you will oversee the development of compelling content, provide strategic communications advice, support key public relations activities, strengthen internal and external communications, and ensure consistent branding across the Diocese.
This is a unique opportunity to combine senior communications expertise with gospel ministry, helping Sydney Anglicans share stories that inform, encourage and inspire people across our churches and communities.
