Seeking a Godly and competent Deputy Principal
Covenant Christian School is seeking an exceptional Deputy Principal to provide strategic and operational leadership across the school. Working closely with the Principal, the Deputy Principal will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school.
As a key leader within our school community, the Deputy Principal plays a vital role in upholding the school's educational vision, fostering a positive and collaborative staff culture, supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of staff, and ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and school operations. The successful applicant will be a visible and approachable leader who is committed to serving students, families, and colleagues with wisdom, humility, and integrity.
Applicants must be suitably qualified and accredited to teach with the Australian Capital Territory Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). To align with the school’s Christian beliefs, applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical or similar persuasion who are members of, and actively involved in, a local Protestant Christian church. All applications will be considered on their merit and teachers are encouraged to apply regardless of their level of experience. It is a requirement that all applicants hold a current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.

Covenant Christian School (formerly Covenant College) was founded in 1991 and is a growing co-educational Christian day school with approximately 320 students from Preschool to Year 10, situated on 6.6 hectares in the southern Canberra suburb of Gordon.
