We are seeking passionate and committed educators to join our Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) faculty from January 2027.

Opportunities exist for:

• A full-time (1.0 FTE) Head of TAS/Teacher position; and
• A substantial part-time TAS teaching position (approximately 0.6-0.7 FTE).

Applications are invited from teachers with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Textiles and Design
• Design and Technology
• Timber Technology/Junior Technology

We anticipate appointments across both full-time and part-time capacities, with final staffing arrangements determined by the strengths and experience of the successful applicants.

• Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.

Leadership Opportunity - Head of Technology and Applied Studies (TAS)

This is a rare opportunity for a suitably experienced educator to lead a well-established and highly valued TAS faculty, building on its strong foundation of quality teaching, innovation and student engagement.

The successful Head of TAS will provide leadership of the faculty, support curriculum development and innovation, mentor staff, and contribute to the strategic direction of teaching and learning across the school.

The Head of TAS may be appointed from either a Textiles and Design or Design and Technology/Timber Technology background. Final teaching allocations will be determined by the strengths and experience of the successful applicants.

Salary and Benefits

Remuneration is in accordance with the Christians Schools NSW Teaching Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023, and will be based on qualifications and experience.
