Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.
The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.6) Secondary Music Teacher to commence at the start of 2027. The FTE may be negotiable for the successful applicant, considering ensemble commitments and the capacity to contribute to other curriculum areas.
We are seeking a candidate who has experience directing and conducting instrumental and/or vocal ensembles and organising a range of music performance events, including concerts, soirées and ensemble showcases. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience teaching Music and developing engaging elective Music programs for students in Years 7 - 10. They will also have experience teaching digital composition, or a willingness to develop their skills in this area. Experience working within classroom-based band programs and/or school orchestral programs will be highly regarded.
