Cornerstone Grace Church – Hurstville, Sydney

Cornerstone Grace Church is a growing evangelical church in Hurstville, Sydney, with a vibrant English-speaking congregation of around 25 people, made up of youth, young professionals, and young families. We are seeking a Godly and gospel-hearted Pastor to lead and shepherd our English congregation.

About the Role

Working alongside our Leadership Team, you will provide Biblical leadership through:

·       Faithful expository preaching and teaching.

·       Shepherding and pastoral care.

·       Discipling and developing leaders.

·       Equipping the church for evangelism and service.

·       Leading our youth ministry and supporting small groups.

About You

You are someone who:

·       Demonstrates a mature Christian faith and a clear calling to pastoral ministry.

·       Loves God’s Word and faithfully teaches it.

·       Has a servant heart and a passion for shepherding people.

·       Builds healthy relationships across different generations.

·       Leads, equips, and encourages volunteers and emerging leaders.

·       Affirms the authority of Scripture and can subscribe to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith and the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Qualifications

·       Preferably holds a Bachelor of Theology (BTh), Master of Divinity (MDiv), or equivalent theological qualification.

·       Two years or more of pastoral ministry experience is preferred.
