The College Nurse (Term time FTE 0.92) plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and health-informed environment for all students, staff, and visitors within the College community. The role provides a quality service in relation to primary health care, health education and ongoing medical treatment and referrals, in a physical and emotionally nurturing environment.

Details of the role:
•This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive, primary health care, including emergency response, illness and injury triage, and chronic illness management.
•The role provides a quality service in relation to primary health care, health education and ongoing medical treatment and referrals, in a physical and emotionally nurturing environment.
•Substantial clinical skills including triaging, treatment, and referrals as well as management of individual management action plans for students with chronic illnesses or health risks.
•Knowledge of and a deep commitment to child safety in an education setting.
•Current Working with Children Check.
•AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
