St Mary's is a mission-minded, gospel-centred, multicultural Anglican church committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time Lay Minister – Mandarin Ministry to help establish, develop and strengthen Mandarin-speaking ministry as part of the wider mission of our parish.

Working alongside the Rector and staff team, this role combines leadership in Mandarin ministry with shared parish administration and ministry responsibilities.

We are seeking someone who:

• Is a mature and committed Christian.
• Has a heart for the gospel and making disciples.
• Holds at least a Diploma in Theology (or equivalent).
• Has a minimum of two years' ministry experience.
• Can faithfully preach and teach the Bible in Mandarin.
• Is fluent in spoken Mandarin, with sufficient English for ministry and administration.
• Is self-motivated, collaborative and able to work in a multicultural church environment.

The role includes:

• Leading and developing Mandarin-speaking ministry.
• Preaching, teaching, discipleship and pastoral care.
• Building relationships and reaching Mandarin-speaking people with the gospel.
• Sharing in the wider ministry and administration of the parish.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Perth Anglican Diocese Lay Ministry salary scale and will reflect qualifications and experience.
