Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who is committed to providing comprehensive early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences for children aged 3-6 years.

Joey's Cottage Preschool was established in 1994 and is a privately owned preschool managed by the original approved provider. It has staff retention of up to 30 years for individual staff members. We have an outstanding reputation and have established partnerships within the community. We are not part of a chain but are a stand-alone preschool.

About the Role

• Lead and inspire our preschool program.

• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

• Have knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education or be willing to learn.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

• Observe, document and assess children's learning and development.

• Knowledge of Child Safe Principles and a commitment to protecting and promoting child wellbeing 

• Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team.

About You

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA -approved qualification).

• Current NESA accreditation.

• A minimum of 5 years in early childhood education.

• Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for providing outstanding education.
