As our Domestic and Family Violence Practice Advisor & Trainer, you'll help strengthen the capability of Anglican churches, ministers, volunteers and Anglicare teams to recognise, understand and respond safely to domestic and family violence.
Working within the Relationships & Wellbeing team, you'll combine specialist domestic and family violence expertise with engaging education and practical guidance to help churches build safer, more informed and compassionate communities.

Your opportunity
As our Domestic and Family Violence Practice Advisor & Trainer, you'll provide specialist domestic and family violence advice, develop practical resources and deliver engaging education that equips churches to respond safely, appropriately and compassionately to people impacted by domestic and family violence.
Working collaboratively with ministers, parish leaders, volunteers, Anglicare teams, Sydney Diocese stakeholders and community agencies, you'll strengthen understanding of trauma-informed practice, referral pathways, safeguarding responsibilities and role boundaries while building confidence across church communities.

You communicate complex practice concepts with clarity, empathy and confidence, enabling others to respond safely and appropriately while maintaining strong professional boundaries.
