Garage Door Technician (Junior → Lead Service Tech Path)

We’re a family-run garage door business that prides itself on delivering fantastic customer service to every client. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Garage Door Technician to join our team.

You’ll work alongside experienced installers and service technicians, with a clear pathway to eventually running your own jobs in a company service van as our main service technician.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with garage door installations and repairs
• Working alongside senior technicians on service and fault finding
• Learning how to diagnose and fix a wide range of door and motor issues
• Supporting the team on-site and ensuring jobs run smoothly
• Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop

The opportunity

• Running your own service jobs
• Driving a fully equipped company service van
• Becoming the main service technician
• Pay will depend on experience

Who we’re looking for

• Mechanically minded (experience is great, but not essential)
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to work well in a team and independently
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Driver’s licence

Bonus (not required):

• Experience with garage doors, gates, or similar trades
• Electrical or mechanical background
• White card (essential - or willing to get one)

Will need police check, permanent rights to work in Australia, MUST have Australian drivers license
