Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Coach to be available to work at our Pakenham campus, commencing in Term 3 this year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment within the Sport and PE department to provide coaching sessions for students involved in the strength and conditioning program.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:
· Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
· Delivering structured training sessions throughout school terms
· Fostering a positive training culture
· Conducting fitness testing and performance assessments
· Maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure safe working conditions
The successful candidates will have the following:
· Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
· Qualifications and experience in exercise and sports science or equivalent (desirable)
· Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
· Good computer literacy skills
· Awareness of appropriate supervisor behaviours when working with students
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
