Associate Pastor (Maturity & Membership)

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing our Life Groups
• Raising and equipping life group leaders
• Strengthening discipleship and newcomer pathways
• Overseeing onboarding and integration pathways
• Helping cultivate a healthy culture of belonging, care, and gospel mission
• Contributing to preaching, teaching, and pastoral ministry

Executive Pastor

About the Role

• 3 days to full time depending on the applicant
• Core responsibility: Executive leadership including staff development, systems, finance, property, policies, and operational clarity
• Additional responsibilities (if full time): overseeing one of our Purpose Areas (e.g. Next Gen, Membership, or Mission)
• Working closely with the Lead Pastor to support direction, doctrine, and as we seek to live out our mission, vision and values

• Has theological training, ministry experience, and strong relational skills / a pastoral heart
• Loves Jesus deeply and has a genuine shepherd’s heart
• Is passionate about making and growing disciples of Jesus
• Enjoys building leaders, teams, and healthy ministry systems
• Enjoys empowering others and building teams where leaders flourish
• Works collaboratively and brings wise, servant-hearted leadership
• Thinks strategically, works collaboratively, and communicates clearly
• Has a heart to see more people reached with the gospel of Jesus / has a heart to help a church keep expanding its gospel reach across Western Sydney
• Wants to invest long-term in a church moving toward its 2030 vision and beyond
• Is a male candidate who meets the Biblical character requirements for elders (1 Tim 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9)
• Is theologically aligned with an evangelical, complementarian position
