We are seeking an experienced and committed educator to join our English department as a Faculty Head, providing strategic and operational leadership.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Faculty Head plays a key leadership role in ensuring that the teaching and learning within their subject area is engaging, aligned, and reflective of a Christ‑centred curriculum.
Reporting to the Director of Teaching & Learning, the Faculty Head leads curriculum development, supports and develops staff, and contributes to the ongoing growth and effectiveness of the School’s educational program.
This role offers an opportunity to influence teaching and learning across our Endeavour Hills and Officer campuses while shaping a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities include:
COMMENCING
Term 1, 2027.
TIME FRACTION
This role comprises a full‑time, ongoing teaching appointment and a three‑year fixed‑term Position of Responsibility as Faculty Head of English.
ABOUT THE PERSON
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of classroom capability and professional practice, with a strong commitment to fostering a learning culture in which students are encouraged to live out the School's motto in their academic work and behaviours.
They will lead and model best practice in curriculum delivery and pedagogy across the subject area, promoting student growth and achievement through data-informed practice, targeted support, and continuous improvement in learning outcomes. Previous experience in a similar leadership role will be highly regarded.
