Citipointe OSHC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our vibrant, faith-filled team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children, mentoring Educators and contributing to the leadership and daily operations of a high-quality OSHC service.

About the Role

Working alongside the Director, the Assistant Coordinator will help lead the delivery of engaging, child-centred programs while supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. This role plays an important part in fostering a safe, inclusive and positive environment where school-aged children can learn, grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership and daily operations of the OSHC service
  • Mentor and guide Educators within a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Assist with staff guidance, rostering and maintaining a positive team culture
  • Build strong and positive relationships with children, families and school leadership
  • Deliver engaging play-based and child-centred programs for children aged 5–12 years
  • Plan and facilitate a variety of activities including STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
  • Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), My Time, Our Place (MTOP) and service policies
  • Contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for children and staff

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally 1–2 years' experience working with school-aged children (5–12 years) within an OSHC or educational setting
  • Experience supporting daily operations and rostering is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior Educators and contribute to a positive team culture
  • A solid understanding of the My Time, Our Place (MTOP) framework and National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging with children, families, Educators and school leadership
  • The ability to plan and implement engaging, child-centred experiences and activities
  • Reflects Christian values through actions and attitudes
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's wellbeing, learning and development

Essential Requirements

  • Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Relevant Diploma qualifications in Education or Children's Services preferred
  • Child Protection certificate and National Child Safety Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
