Seeking someone to join the Bible Society Australia team in the role of Church & Community Partnerships Manager to foster relationships with churches across denominations, inspire support for our mission, and help transform lives through the power of the Bible......

Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and strengthen meaningful relationships with churches (across denominations and traditions), Christian communities, church leaders, and mission committees to deepen engagement and encourage prayerful and financial partnership with Bible Society Australia.
- Connect churches and Christians with relevant BSA projects and campaigns, encouraging active partnership through giving, prayer, advocacy, and volunteer engagement.
- Initiate and support fundraising opportunities that lead to Mission Project Partnerships, Regular Giving, Major Gifts, and Bequests.
- Prepare tailored approaches for supporters, understanding their motivations, interests, and communication preferences to inspire support and partnership.
- Meet with, visit and maintain contact with members, donors and others in the community
- Oversee the continued stewardship of our high-value church & community relationships, ensuring supporters feel deeply valued, connected, and appreciated.
- Ensure familiarity with current BSA fundraising appeals, projects and offerings to effectively promote opportunities for support.
Key Criteria
We are excited to hear from candidates that have:
- A clear understanding of and commitment to the Christian faith and Bible Society Australia's mission and role within the Christian community.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, sales, donor acquisition, and meeting or exceeding financial KPIs.
- Confident public speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in church or community settings.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence individuals and groups toward partnership and giving.
- Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and contribute towards team goals.
- Willingness to travel regularly and present at churches and Christian events, including weekends and evenings (on average, two working Sundays per month, with Time in Lieu respected).
- Ability to engage effectively across a broad range of Christian denominations and traditions.
- A relational and values-driven approach to partnership and stewardship
