Our client, CYC Philip Island Adventure Resort, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the strategy, delivery and continuous improvement of their large-scale activities program. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this key role ensures programs are safe, impactful and aligned with CYC’s Christian mission and guest experience priorities. The role balances strategic contribution with strong oversight of operational execution; ensuring programs are well resourced, effectively staffed and delivered with consistency and excellence.

As the Program Manager, you will set direction for the team; driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement to deliver exceptional guest experiences while developing a high-performing and engaged team.

You will be responsible for;

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, providing clear direction and ensuring consistent delivery across all program areas.
  • Coaching and mentoring, supporting development pathways and building capacity within the team.
  • Ensuring strong safety, compliance and risk management practices are embedded across all activities.
  • Oversee resource planning, staffing levels and program scheduling to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in program design and delivery.
  • Collaborating across departments as an active member of the leadership team.

What you will bring to the role;

  • Proven leadership experience in the camping, outdoor recreation or adventure tourism industry and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Experience leading teams delivering structured programs or guest experiences.
  • Strong operational, planning and organisational capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people and build team capacity.
  • A practical, solution focused leadership style.
  • Familiarity with budget and resource management, including budgeting, cost control and equipment/resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
