Crossway Brighton is seeking a part-time Children and Families Pastor to provide strategic leadership to our Children and Families Ministry.

About the Role

Location: Brighton, VIC
Employment Type: Part-time, 2 days per week

As the Children and Families Pastor, you will play a key role in shaping the spiritual foundation of the next generation. You’ll lead and oversee the creation and delivery of engaging weekend and mid-week programs that help children and their families connect into authentic community, discover the love of Jesus, and grow as His disciples.

This is a pastoral leadership role that requires strong team-building skills, creativity, and a deep heart for both children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all children and families ministry activities at Crossway Brighton.

  • Design and implement weekend and mid-week programs that are age-appropriate, gospel-centered, and disciple-making.

  • Recruit, equip, and empower teams of passionate volunteers to serve effectively and joyfully.

  • Build strong partnerships with parents, equipping them to be the primary disciple-makers of their children.

  • Collaborate with the Crossway Brighton team to foster a unified church-wide discipleship culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • A committed follower of Jesus with a heart for children and families.

  • A pastoral leader with strong communication and relational skills.

  • Experience in children’s ministry or family ministry leadership (preferred).

  • Ability to lead and inspire volunteers and build dynamic ministry teams.

  • A passion for disciple-making and a commitment to intergenerational ministry.
