BDC Pastor - Chinese congregation (Cantonese-Speaking Role)

Seeking an experienced and passionate Chinese BDC Pastor (Cantonese-speaking) to lead and champion discipleship training within Chinese church communities....

• - Part time, fixed term 1 day per week

This pastoral role focuses on strengthening disciple-making through pastoral oversight, translation, coaching, and training of Chinese-speaking church leaders and teams. It also includes providing spiritual leadership and shepherding within the context of BDC discipleship training.

About the Role

Working closely with the BDC National Leader, this 1 day per week position will:

• Provide pastoral oversight and leadership within Chinese church communities
• Translate and adapt BDC resources for a Chinese (Cantonese-speaking) context
• Build strong relationships with Chinese church leaders and networks
• Deliver training, coaching, and support to leaders and teams
• Develop culturally appropriate discipleship and coaching approaches

About You

You are passionate about disciple-making and have a heart to see Chinese church communities equipped and flourishing. You bring cultural understanding, relational strength, and ministry experience.

You will ideally have:

• Fluency in Cantonese (spoken and written Chinese)
• Demonstrated pastoral leadership and ministry experience
• Strong relational and cross-cultural communication skills
• Extensive experience with BDC, preferably including the Discovery Bible Method
• A personal faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with the vision and values of Crossway Baptist Church
