Crossway Baptist Church is seeking a passionate Preteens Pastor to lead and grow our Grade 5–6 ministry within Crossway Kids. This role is 4 days a week and will help preteens encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, transition into Youth ministry, while partnering with families and leading a team of volunteers.

Key Responsibilities - 4 days per week

• Provide key leadership and oversee the Grade 5–6 (Preteens) ministry.
• Recruit and develop volunteer leaders.
• Facilitate discipleship and engaging weekly Biblical teaching for preteens.
• Provide leadership and execute a relationally driven transition process from Kids ministry into Youth.
• Partner with parents and contribute to the wider Crossway Kids vision.
• Provide leadership and direction to the missional engagement of Crossway Kids both internationally and within the local community.

Key Selection Criteria

• A vibrant Christian faith and commitment to the mission of the local church.
• Relevant ministry/theological training or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading teams and developing volunteers.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Commitment to child safety and compliance with Child Safe Standards.
