Seeking an Executive Minister to join our senior leadership team as we continue to grow and pursue our vision of being “More than a Sunday”......

  • Full-Time or 3–4 Days per Week Considered
  • Commencing Mid-2026

This is a significant and exciting leadership opportunity. You will help shape the systems and structures that support a thriving church community, working alongside a committed staff team and a clear, shared vision.

Working closely with the Senior Minister, this role is ideal for a proactive leader who can both lead and manage; someone who enjoys bringing clarity, building systems, and helping people and ministries flourish.

You won’t be starting from scratch. You will be stepping into a healthy and growing church, with strong foundations already in place, and real opportunity to build for the future.

  • Strong in both leadership and management, able to lead people while building effective systems
  • Energised by bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to a team
  • Relationally aware, with the ability to work well with a wide range of people
  • Comfortable using digital tools and open to leveraging AI to improve how things work

Most importantly, you have a deep commitment to Jesus and a desire to see people grow as disciples.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

This role oversees the operational life of the church, including:

Operations & Systems

  • Developing and improving systems that support all ministries
  • Turning vision into clear plans and practical outcomes

Volunteer & Ministry Support

  • Strengthening volunteer pathways and team support
  • Overseeing onboarding, rostering, and coordination

People & Culture

  • Supporting staff health, alignment, and development
  • Helping shape a positive, high-trust team culture

Governance & Compliance

  • Overseeing Safe Church, WHS, and policy frameworks
  • Supporting strong governance alongside the Board

Finance & Stewardship

  • Supporting budgeting, planning, and financial systems

Facilities & Infrastructure

  • Overseeing buildings, maintenance, and IT systems

Administration & Hospitality

  • Supporting a welcoming and well-run Sunday experience
  • Strengthening front-of-house and guest services

Cafe Ministry

  • Supporting the cafe as a space for connection and community


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage people, systems, and processes effectively
  • Strong organisational and strategic thinking skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience building and leading teams
  • Competence with digital systems and a willingness to utilise AI tools
  • Alignment with the vision, theology, and culture of Warnbro Community Church
