Moving beyond one‑off emergency relief, FinWell provides integrated, relationship‑based financial wellbeing support that helps people build long‑term stability, confidence and resilience.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Capability Caseworker to join our multidisciplinary FinWell team, delivering specialists, intensive financial counselling to individuals and families experiencing debt and financial stress.

About our Financial wellbeing program:

The FinWell Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families to build financial confidence, capability and long-term wellbeing through culturally respectful, strength-based support.

About the Role:

As a Financial Capability Caseworker, you will support individuals and families experiencing financial stress, working in a culturally safe, trauma informed person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed financial capability support
  • Support budgeting, goal setting and financial confidence Build trusting relationships with clients and community
  • Provide advocacy, referrals and service navigation
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain client records and contribute to outcomes reporting

About You:

  • Identify asAboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Relevant qualification or lived and professional experience
  • Experience supporting community facing financial hardship
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • NSW Driver License and required police checks
