THE ROLE:

This full-time (Hybrid) role includes:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Credit card statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting Inter-company transactions
  • Preparing month end journals and reconciliations
  • Assistance with Accounts receivable
  • Provide administration assistance to the Operations Team
  • Other duties as reasonably required

  • Strong accounts and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Contributes strongly to a climate of trust, acceptance and respect
  • Maintains integrity in all interpersonal actions both within the office and in contact with church leaders and others.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes, skills, and experience:

  • A mature and committed Christian who has a sense of calling to serving God in this role using their administrative gifts
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role and preferably in Not-for-profit organisation
  • Accounting Diploma (or relevant studies)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Contributes strongly to a climate of trust, acceptance and respect
  • Maintains integrity in all interpersonal actions both within the office and in contact with church leaders and others.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with Xero preferred but not essential
  • Team player
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Supports the Association Beliefs, Values and Position Statements
  • Commitment to Association’s vision and objectives
  • Willing to complete and support our ‘Safe Churches Questionnaire’, Working with Children check and Australian Criminal History Check (if applicable)
