Koorong is undergoing a major operational and digital transformation, modernising our Warehouse distribution and infrastructure to better serve our customers across 14 physical stores and our online platform. As part of this transformation, we are seeking skilled and committed Warehouse Assistants to help support the future of Koorong distribution. This is a unique opportunity for motivated warehouse professionals to play a hands-on role in supporting resource distribution Australia wide.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role aims to support the retail team, by delivering fantastic organisational and packing skills. If you’re passionate about using your previous experience to serve a purpose-driven organisation we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities –

This position is a hands-on role that involves:

  • Unloading and processing stock received from Koorong suppliers.
  • Pick orders across a vast variety of products.
  • Packing and palletising orders as required.
  • Other general warehouse duties.

Availabilities –

  • Casual shifts will be rostered on weekdays Monday to Friday (Between 7:00am-4:00pm), and occasional Saturdays.
  • It is essential to have availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week.

About You –

  • Someone aligned with the mission and values of Koorong.
  • A current forklift license is not required however is advantageous.
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy is essential
  • Hard working, physically fit and reliable.
  • Able to lift up to 20kgs.
  • Organised and self-motivated, with a high attention to detail.
  • Task-focused and have the ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative team player who communicates clearly with internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new skills with solid attention to detail
