We are looking for a motivated, organised, and results‑driven Uniform Shop Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the school Uniform Shop.... This is a permanent part‑time position, working three days per week, commencing as soon as possible.

The role is responsible for coordinating all Uniform Shop activities and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the store. While the position requires responsibility for day‑to‑day operations, it operates within a clear accountability framework, with guidance, support, and regular supervision provided by the Student Service Team Leader and the Finance Team. The role reports directly to the Student Service Team Leader, with a dotted‑line relationship to the Finance Manager.

ABOUT YOU

You are a motivated, results‑focused individual who enjoys managing retail operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You bring a positive, can‑do attitude and take pride in working with people in a busy, customer‑focused environment.

You will:

  • Manage day‑to‑day Uniform Shop operations with confidence and care
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service to families and students
  • Operate POS and inventory systems, monitor stock levels, and reorder stock in a timely manner
  • Build and manage strong relationships with uniform suppliers
  • Organise and coordinate six‑monthly stocktakes (end of Term 2 and Term 4)
  • Manage the Uniform Shop email professionally and efficiently
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and services offered

SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed Christian, active in church fellowship, with a strong commitment to Christian education
  • Be willing to undertake mandatory child‑safe training and obtain all required clearances (including a Working With Children Check)
  • Bring previous experience in managing a retail store, ideally within a clothing retail environment
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a commitment to continual improvement
  • Have sound computer skills across Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Be comfortable using POS and inventory management systems
