Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Project Workers to join our growing Relationships and Wellbeing team. This role plays a key role in supporting individuals and families to access services, build skills, and strengthen their wellbeing through group programs, workshops, and individual support. You would be working in the Parramatta office, and the role is open to part-time and full-time staff so perfect around study commitments. The role will be up to 3 months with the possibility of extension.

About the role

  • Deliver group programs, workshops, and community capacity-building activities
  • Provide individual support and case planning to clients accessing Relationships and Wellbeing programs
  • Support clients to navigate community services and advocate on their behalf where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local services, schools, parishes, and stakeholders
  • Promote Anglicare services within the community to strengthen referral pathways
  • Ensure compliance with organisational, funding, and legislative requirements

About you

You are empathetic, organised, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the community.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications within Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or recent and up and coming graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse clients
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality

Highly desirable

  • Experience working with young people
  • Case management or counselling experience
  • Experience delivering group programs
