This role is responsible for supporting the work of CV’s External Communications team by creating visually compelling content and resources that align with CV’s brand and communications objectives.
Reporting to the External Communications Manager, this role will work closely with various team members to deliver consistent, impactful, and creative design solutions across a variety of platforms and audiences.
This role is vital to the successful outworking of our external communications strategy and plays a key role in working toward the achievement of CV’s unique objectives.
Specific responsibilities
- Support the execution of CV’s External Communications strategy by developing high-quality visual assets that ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with CV’s branding and messaging across digital, print, and experiential channels.
- Design and produce creative resources including branded collateral, templates, event materials, infographics, presentations, toolkits, newsletters, and digital content to support media/PR, and other external communications campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Brand Strategist to maintain and evolve CV’s visual identity, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all materials and platforms.
- Work alongside the Communications Specialist to translate key narratives and messaging into visually compelling outputs that raise CV’s visibility and inspire engagement with external audiences.
- Contribute to media relations activities by designing supporting resources such as media kits, press releases, and briefing materials for spokespeople.
- Engage with the Social Media and Localisation teams to create culturally relevant, on-brand visuals tailored for different platforms and audiences, including adaptations in multiple languages.
- Support external events (e.g., DigitalDay) with event branding, stage visuals, signage, and promotional materials that enhance CV’s presence and reinforce brand identity.
- Assist with the creation and formatting of external communications products and campaign reports, ensuring they are visually engaging, accessible, and aligned with CV’s messaging.
- Maintain and organise design assets, templates, and visual resources for the External Communications team, building efficient systems for version control, accessibility, and reuse.
- Collaborate within a global organisation across time zones, including occasional out-of-hours availability where required.
- Stay informed of design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure CV’s visual communications remain innovative, competitive, and impactful.
