The Principal will work in partnership with the School Board to ensure the ongoing flourishing of the school academically, spiritually, and organisationally, while faithfully advancing our vision: “to serve in God’s plan to restore all things under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.”
Since 1978, Covenant Christian School has been proudly serving the Northern Beaches community of Sydney, providing high-quality, Christ-centred education from Prep to Year 12. Located in Belrose, our vibrant and thriving school is home to a dedicated staff team and approximately 884 students, united in a shared commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and pastoral care.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead our community into its next chapter. This is an exceptional opportunity to inspire and guide a highly committed team, strengthen our Christ-centred educational practices, and equip young people to grow in their knowledge of Christ, love of learning, and service to others.
The successful candidate will bring:
- A mature and flourishing reformed, evangelical Christian faith, expressed through Godly wisdom, humility, and relational intelligence
- Proven experience in educational leadership, staff development, and curriculum excellence
- A commitment to the wellbeing of students and staff, coupled with strong operational and strategic management skills
- The ability to foster strong partnerships with families, churches, and the wider community and
- Experience navigating compliance, accreditation, and regulatory requirements

Covenant Christian School is a Prep to Year 12, co-educational, non-denominational Christian school with a reformed evangelical basis.
Covenant was started in 1978 by dedicated Christian parents. They wanted a school which would assist parents to bring up their children in the training and instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 6:4).
Our school has grown to over 900 students yet the vision and passion remain the same.
