About Us

Penrith Church of Christ is a warm, intergenerational congregation with a deep commitment to authentic community, biblical teaching, and practical discipleship. For over 70 years, our church has served the Penrith region with a heart for service, spiritual formation, and community.

We are a self-governed, elder-led church within the Churches of Christ NSW/ACT movement. Our leadership structure emphasises shared discernment, relational accountability, and a commitment to New Testament simplicity. As we continue to grow and prepare for an exciting future—including plans for a permanent church home—we are seeking a pastor who can help guide, shepherd, and strengthen our community.

Role Purpose

The Pastor of Penrith Church of Christ provides spiritual, pastoral, and organisational leadership to the congregation. This role focuses on:

• Leading the spiritual life and teaching ministry of the church

• Shepherding and caring for the congregation

• Supporting and developing ministry leaders and volunteers

• Strengthening community engagement and outreach

• In collaboration with Elders ensuring healthy governance, compliance, and

operational stewardship

• Cultivating a culture of authenticity, discipleship, and relational connection
