About us
Wesley Mission is a high profile, multi-faceted Christian organisation making a real difference in the community. We work with the most disadvantaged in our community by providing over 200 services ranging from aged care, homeless services, child and family care, counselling, employment, training and education, and health services.
Our Vision is “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
About the role
An opportunity exists for an experienced, motivated and teachable person to join our small team of caseworkers assisting families experiencing homelessness or homeless-risk throughout the Central Coast.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, requiring initiative, resilience, collaboration, creativity and genuine compassion. It involves working from offices in Gosford and neighbouring districts, in partner organisations and in homes of our formerly-homeless or at-risk clients. It may include some earlier starts or later finishes in order to meet particular local needs. It will require travel across the districts in which we deliver services. It requires day-to-day in-person service delivery and is not considered suitable for hybrid work-arrangements.
