Leaders at Wycliffe Christian School are given the authority and responsibility of shaping the life of our learning community by applying the gospel values contained in the school’s vision statement to the relationships, structures, goals, activities and conversations that form the daily life of the school. As leaders, we have the privilege of being an expression of God’s faithful presence, promises and grace for our learning community. This expression will take different forms, which reflect the diverse contexts in which we are serving. We look to Jesus as our model of servant leadership. However, we acknowledge that we have no ability on our own to imitate this but, nonetheless, are called to faithfulness of character, produced by God’s sovereign miracle of redeeming grace. We pray for a soft heart and a humble, gentle spirit, to speak truthfully and hear openly the correction and advice that will enable all in our community to learn effectively, live joyfully and serve faithfully.
