Hays are proud to partner with Anglicare Tasmania in their search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Executive team on a permanent full time basis. Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of Anglicare’s six-person Executive Team. You will lead the Finance function, ensuring the organisation’s financial governance, compliance, reporting standards and risk management frameworks meet best practice and all statutory requirements. Based in the Hobart CBD head office, you will provide strategic commercial advice to the CEO and Executive, contribute to Board and Committee reporting, and play a central role in long term financial planning including the 5 Year Finance Plan. You will lead a capable finance team, and oversee budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, treasury, procurement governance, and continuous improvement across financial systems, policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
As a CA or CPA qualified finance leader with demonstrated senior experience in financial management, governance, compliance, reporting and strategic planning. You enjoy leading people, communicating with influence, and partnering across an organisation to provide insight, guidance and strategic recommendations. Your experience includes managing budgeting cycles, presenting complex information to Executives and Boards, and maintaining strong internal controls. You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent problem solving skills, and a values driven approach. Experience in the community sector is welcomed but not essential.
