Belmont Christian College

Situated in the Newcastle region, Belmont Christian College is a co-educational College of over 900 students that deeply values child safety.

Located on the narrow scenic isthmus that lies between Lake Macquarie and the Pacific Ocean, bordered by 9 Mile Beach. The site is heritage listed and was once the John Darling Colliery. A vision for Christian schooling in the Belmont area was first conceived by members of Belmont Baptist Church and has seen the College grow from humble beginnings with an enrolment of just 12 students in 1982.

We are privileged to journey alongside local families in providing a dynamic, transforming, Christ-centred education.

The  College Counsellor  is a key member of the Student Support Team and provides individual counselling apart from assisting in the College’s (P-12) wellbeing support, initiatives and programs.
