Cairns Baptist Church is a warm, diverse and gospel-centred church located in the heart of Far North Queensland. Our fellowship includes people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, with both English and Chinese-speaking congregations gathering together under one united vision — to glorify Jesus, make disciples, and bring the hope of the gospel to our surrounding communities.
CBC has a long-standing commitment to biblical teaching, authentic community, cross-cultural unity, and practical outreach. The church has recently moved from our original inner city location to a purpose-built facility in the suburbs and we are eager to be lead further into effective local missions. Seeing an average of 220 attendees each Sunday between our English and Chinese services, the church is seeing new momentum in the neighbourhood and surrounding city.
