The aim of a chaplain funded via the NSCP is to support the emotional wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care services and strategies that support the emotional wellbeing of the broader school community within the framework of The Salvation Army’s mission and values. The role of the Chaplain is a non-proselytising one. Ministering to students and staff, a school chaplain respects and is sensitive to the views, values and beliefs of others.
