This role will suit someone who is passionate about seeing young people move towards Jesus. Set in a team environment you will work with the YA and Kids Pastor to grow the outworking of spiritual life within a suburban context as part of the Next Gen team.
2 days per week
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide, spiritual, ministry and organisational leadership to meet the church’s strategic objectives for 12 – 16 year olds.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, maintain and implement a strategic plan for the church’s ministry with Youth.
Maintain the spiritual tone and values of the church with the Youth Ministry.
Recruit train, lead and manage leaders to lead within the ministry area.
Provide pastoral care and spiritual development to the key leaders.
SELECTION CRITERIA: ESSENTIAL:
Appropriate ministry qualifications or working towards qualification.
