Bundaberg Baptist Church (BBC) is seeking a passionate Young Adult Discipleship Pastor (YADP) to join our ministry team and help us live out our mission:

About the Role
The Young Adult Discipleship Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor, ministry team, and church leadership to provide spiritual leadership and oversight in the area of young adult discipleship and leadership development, with some involvement with senior school students.
This part-time role (2 days per week) is central to helping BBC realise its mission and 3-year vision goals by raising up mature, missional disciples and emerging leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Intentional discipleship of youth and young adults
- Mentoring and developing young leaders
- Facilitating discipleship and leadership development pathways
- Supporting and coaching leaders within youth and young adult ministries
- Limited pastoral care within the leadership stream
- Contributing to preaching (approximately one in every 6–8 weeks)
- Ensuring effective compliance and safety practices

Qualifications and experience:
- Formal ministry qualifications (or progress towards) are highly regarded
- Proven ministry and leadership experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and care for teams
- Ability to meet Queensland Baptists pastoral registration requirements
- Ability to obtain a Child Protection Suitability Card
- Eligibility to become a member of Bundaberg Baptist Church
Conditions
- Part-time position (2 days per week), commencing early 2026
- Appointment approved by church membership
- Remuneration in line with Queensland Baptists guidelines
- Accountable to the Senior Pastor, with support from church leadership
