We’re recruiting for:

  • One permanent part-time position (Mondays, 1 day/week).
  • Two casuals to provide additional cover as required.

All roles are based at our Sydney campus in Macquarie Park.

As the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Sydney campus, providing a warm and professional welcome to students, staff, and visitors both in person and via telephone.
  • Deliver general administrative support to the Corporate Administration team.
  • Support the Events and Venues Officer as required, assisting with campus events and the venue hire process.
  • Roles available: 1 Permanent Part-time (1 day/week) and 2 Casuals to provide additional cover as required.
  • Remuneration for permanent part-time: $60,341.83/annum pro-rated to $12,068.36/annum for 1 day/week (excl. 12% Super).
  • Remuneration for casuals: $37.13 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).

Essential Key Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):

  • Previous experience in reception, concierge, or customer service.
  • Strong software competence, including Microsoft and Google software and platforms.
  • Highly organised and able to remain poised under pressure.
  • Administratively skilled with flexibility in managing duties.
  • Professional and personable communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively across teams.
  • Demonstrated Christian character and active involvement in a local evangelical church.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.

Desirable Attributes:

  • A relevant post-secondary qualification is desirable.
  • Current First Aid Certification or the willingness to undertake training.
