About the Role

Working under the direct guidance and instruction of the Acting CEO, this role provides administrative, communications, and coordination support across the organisation. The focus of the role is execution and support – using strong technical and organisational skills to assist with communications, events, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Acting CEO
  • Assist with scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and general office administration
  • Answer the office phone and respond to general enquiries, escalating as required

Communications & Marketing Support

  • Assist with Temcare’s communications
  • Drafting and scheduling social media posts using supplied content and direction
  • Updating website content (WordPress)
  • Assisting with newsletters and digital communications (Mailchimp)
  • Use Canva (or equivalent tools) to prepare visual assets in line with brand guidance

Volunteer, Church & Community Support

  • Provide administrative support for volunteer and church engagement activities
  • Maintain contact lists and databases
  • Assist with communications, invitations, and follow-ups as directed

Events & Logistics Support

  • Assist with the administration and coordination of; camps, program events, volunteer training and appreciation events
  • Support logistics including registrations, run-sheets, communications, and event packs
  • Provide limited, day-to-day guidance to volunteers during events as directed

About You

You are a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented person who enjoys working within a small team, structure and clear direction.

You have a good visual eye, strong organisational skills, and take pride in producing work that is both engaging and accurate. You enjoy using digital tools to bring ideas to life and supporting others behind the scenes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Confidence using; Canva (or similar design tools), WordPress, Social media platroms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable following direction, working to and developing templates, and meeting deadlines
