Youth Pastor

Responsible for the implementation of all Youth ministries. This role is both evangelistic and pastoral with the goal of creating effective disciples for Jesus Christ and fully committed members of Newlife Church.....

Ordinary hours of work would be 16 hours/week or as advised by the Church from time to time.

Core objectives include:

• Raise and lead an enthusiastic leadership team.
• Attend monthly Church team nights and encourage your team to come too.
• Oversee the pastoral care of all Youth.
• Ensure new youth are connected and included in various Church activities.
• Organise and facilitate weekly youth meetings.
• Do regular risk assessments of all youth activities.
• Ensure all teaching is in line with Newlife Nambour’s theology.
• Oversee and moderate all Newlife Youth social media content.
• Organise and facilitate various other activities (such as youth camps, excursions, inter-church activities, sporting events, etc.)
• Seek ways to reach unchurched youth, including actively engaging with local high schools.
• Meet with Senior Pastors weekly.
