Seeking a spiritually mature and experienced Dean of Counselling to provide academic and professional leadership to our Counselling programs...

This part-time role (0.6 FTE, with flexibility available) is ideal for someone who desires to combine academic leadership with ongoing counselling practice or ministry commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee course development, unit offerings, and teaching responsibilities of the Counselling faculty

• Conduct interviews and approval for prospective Counselling students while ensuring student wellbeing and course progression

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in the field of Counselling.

• Ensure academic quality, compliance, and integration of Christian worldview

• Oversee practicum placements and supervision frameworks

• Build professional, church, and industry partnerships

Qualifications & Attributes

• PhD in Counselling, or related field

• Professional eligibility with PACFA/ACA

• Experience teaching counselling in Higher Ed and/or VET

• Strong Christian faith and ability to integrate biblical principles

• Leadership experience in academic or professional counselling contexts

• Excellent communication, relational, and organisational skills
