About Us: At St Mark’s, we are committed to being transformed by grace to love one another, serve the city, and share Christ. Our ministry focuses on sharing Christ in personal relationships and the promotion of the Gospel. To do this, we have four ministry staff leading, teaching and equipping our members (about 400), and a large team of volunteers and part-time staff engaged in supporting the ministry in various ways, including in the office, maintaining the grounds, looking after IT and property, and running the Friends of St Mark’s. We’re looking for someone who can pull this all together and help keep us focussed on the big picture.
Role Purpose: The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, and financial aspects of St Mark’s Anglican Church. This leadership role enables ministry staff to focus on their pastoral and spiritual responsibilities by ensuring a smooth and professional operational environment. We’re keen for you to be on site with us at Darling Point, to help bring our various ministries and activities together, but we are happy to have a conversation about the best way you might be able to serve. The role is for 3-4 days per week.
