St Barnabas Church is seeking a Venue Manager to oversee the administration and operations of external event hire and some internal events. This role ensures our spaces are well-prepared, clean, and welcoming for all activities.

About the Role

  • Permanent part-time position (minimum 3 days / 22.5 hours per week)
  • Flexible roster and working hours based on event schedules

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage event bookings and liaise with clients
  • Prepare and maintain venue spaces, including furniture and AV setup
  • Supervise casual event staff and ensure smooth event operations
  • Oversee food safety, cleaning schedules, and some building maintenance
  • Coordinate with contractors and support the admin team
